Free Domain
Following step for free Domain :-
I am in no way a representative of Dot.tk. I see many
people advertising their server IP addresses, maybe not
realizing that you can get a domain for free. I believe
there are other services similar to this, I've just used
Dot.tk in the past and have been pleased.
If anyone is curious, .tk is a country code top-level
domain for Tokelau, a small territory of New Zealand.
They also offer paid-for domains and decided to use
their TLD to generate income.
Below, I'll show you the steps to create your own .tk
domain and set it up to use with your server.
Step 1
First, navigate to http://www.dot.tk/en/pageA00.html http://www.dot.tk/en/pageA00.html ,
enter your desired domain, and click "Next". If it's
available then you'll be able to move on to
step 2. If
not, you'll have to try something else.
Step 2
We want the free option, select it and click "Next".
Step 3
Select the "Use DNS for this domain" button
Step 4
Now, enter your server IP address into the two "IP
address" boxes. Enter a valid email address and then
the captcha. Click "Next".
Step 5
Next, enter your name and a password. This step
creates an account on the dot.tk website so you can
manage your domains. Click "Next".
Step 6
You'll now need to activate your domain by clicking
the link in the email they send and entering the
confirmation code also provided in the email. Be sure
to check your spam folder.
Step 7
What up to 30 minutes for implementation. After that,
anyone should now be able to log into your server with
the new URL. You'll need have at least 25 hits to the
URL every 90 days or the domain will expire. If you
need to make changes or modifications, you can log
into your account at dot.tk.
